15 March 2016

The 13th edition of 11mm, an international football film festival held in Berlin, is just around the corner! From March 17-21 the city will be transformed into a centre of football and film—and streetfootballworld is proud to be a part of it.

streetfootballworld presents Streetkids United II: The Girls From Rio, a documentary film about a life-changing experience for a group of girls from the favelas in Rio de Janeiro who are chosen to represent Brazil at streetfootballworld network member Street Child United’s Street Child World Cup 2014. The girls, who have faced crime, violence and social problems, work hard to become a winning team. Their journey to the unknown finally rewards them with much more.

The film will be shown March 21st, just a day after the closing ceremony of the Street Child Games 2016. From March 14th – March 20th, you can follow the action in Rio here!
